Choose the absorbency level to meet your needs
Whether your flow level is light, moderate, heavy, or very heavy, there’s an o.b.® tampon that gives you the comfort and confidence you need everyday.

The graph below shows a typical woman’s flow pattern during her period. Generally flow level is heaviest during the first 3 days. You may want to use a higher absorbency tampon on your heavy days and a lower absorbency tampon on your lighter days.

In any case, you should not leave a tampon in for longer than 8 hours.

New onset of heavy menstrual bleeding or abnormal flow patterns may be a sign of something more serious. If you experience a significant increase in menstrual flow or change from what is normal for you, please consult with your healthcare provider.

Attention: Tampons are associated with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Read and save the information in the tampon package. For more information on TSS, see the FAQs section.

To reduce your risk of getting menstrual TSS, select the lowest absorbency to meet your needs.
